Canary Wharf

I was looking forward to visiting Canary wharf for the first time. The Museum of London Docklands was well worth a visit and I am impressed with the detail it contained. I could have spent hours in there but time was short and I had to visit more locations. I managed at last to visit the Gun pub and enjoyed a meal there. I was even showed the Riverside room which is steeped in history. Admiral Nelson used to meet Lady Emma Hamilton in that room for their private assignations. Despite the pub burning down and rebuilt since that time I still got the sense of history. I took more photos of the pub and further along, the building where my detective Joe Stone lives and the views of the Thames. I always get a buzz on these visits and already I am planning my next one.
